Todd street, parts of west Todd, and a good part of Gaylord Mtn road are loaded with potholes , crevices in the road, craters along the unlined sides of the road. The middle of the road is not clearly lined. These roads are curvy, narrow and have extremely poor drainage in sections. All of the conditions contribute to hazardous driving conditions as drivers try to avoid these obstacles. This is a heavily used route connecting Hamden to Bethany and beyond . Continually patching is no longer viable, complete resurfacing , striping and correcting the numerous drainage issues is necessary to provide a safe route for your constituents as well as the commuters that travel this route daily

There is a very low wire from the utility poles in front of 114 Murlyn Rd. I have called UI and they said it is not theirs. I have called Comcast and they did not fix it. Is there a way to tell which wire it is and who to contact to fix it?
  • 34 Farm Brook Ct Hamden, CT, 06514, USA - Hamden_Feature 001

Two inoperative street lights on the curve of Farm Brook Court. Very dark at night. Definitely a hazard. They turn on and off intermittently but never achieve full brightness.

    Thanks

More street lights needed for Dest and Heather Road. Safety issue. Recommend a walk or drive by in the evening.

Please ask to have the Center One property on Colony Street maintained. Again this year, it is overgrown and looks terrible.

the tennis courts are in a state of disrepair, and being in this state removes the ability of the hamden high boys and girls tennis team to practice and play on their home courts
  • Shepard Ave Hamden, Connecticut, 06518 - Hamden
Hamden has a large feral/community cat population.
After reaching out to the animal control and various TEAM, WTLI, TNR programs; it is nearly impossible to have no/low cost spay/neuter programs.
Can a person on fixed income afford to pay $200+ to have a stray fixed? NO.
Meriden has a program for their residents at no cost associated with Veterinarians in their town to control the population.
Why does Hamden not even have our own facility? Everything is geared to dogs.
This is unacceptable at our high taxation level that we have no solution for this problem.
Currently, in our area, we have several community cats reproducing at an alarming rate!
Nothing is done to protect their health or population in Hamden.
    Shame on Hamden!!!
  • Dunbar Hill Rd Hamden, CT, 06514, USA - Hamden
Bulk trash was put out in the Dunbar Hill Main St Mountain Rd area in mid-September and has not yet been picked up. When can we confirm that this will be done?
  • 06514 Hamden, CT, USA - Hamden
There are 15 street lights out on Putnam Ave between Whitney and Dixwell. This is a potentially dangerous situation for not only drivers but pedestrians walking on the sidewalk as well.
    Please consider this a priority.
  • 47 Hampshire Rd Hamden, Connecticut, 06518 - Hamden District 1
Hello, I am wondering how to get a speed bump/hump place on Hampshire Road. There is an increasing amount of speeders on the road.
  • Autumn Ridge Rd & Dunbar Hill Rd Town of Hamden, CT, 06514, USA - Hamden
The pair of beautiful stone columns are in disrepair. Large stones are falling off the sides of one of the columns. The other is intact for now but the weeds on top will lead to dislodged stones as well. Please repair before we lose these iconic stones columns marking the A.C. Gilbert Paradise Preserve.

I hated to report issue at same place over-over-again, BUT, the last report seems to be someone put a bandage over, now... another hole appeared. Like I said from last report. Putting a bandage over would not fix the issue! It’s the creeks below the street that sucks out sand/rock/dirt that caused the damage. Need to be fixed ASAP
