    I saw a very deep pothole on Skiff Street, right between the entrance/exit to the Plaza (on the Bank of America corner) & the entrance to the Kohl's Plaza. Its in the left lane, going UP the hill on Skiff Street (towards Mix Avenue.) What unusually alarms me about the hole is it just appeared in the last day or so & has *pieces* of the road laying around it. Its a very tough pothole to avoid when driving.

    I have been smelling vicious chemical stink, like rubber burning, for days now. It comes up through the sewer gratings outside our condos & even comes INSIDE through the basement! It burns our eyes & throat. Sometimes the smell is intermittent, other times it happens for over an hour at a time. A company or factory must be illegally DUMPING something!

    I am concerned because there is little to no street lighting at the Bridge Construction, on Skiff Street in Hamden. When the construction was being worked on at night, there were lights for the workmen...and this helped drivers too. But frequently now, there are NONE....and its so dark that you cannot see the proper ways to drive safely around the cones, raised-objects, construction equipment, etc. PLEASE add lighting or turn on ALL the streetlights! For everyone's safety! Thank you.

    The pothole on Skiff Street, right in the street by Aldi's, has gotten deeper & is still not being repaired. Tires hit it hard & there is no way to avoid it if turning Left at the traffic-light.

    One of the green traffic lights on Skiff Street (at the intersection of Skiff & Dixwell) is burned out. It is the traffic light on Skiff Street/ Dixwell that is heading towards Whitney Avenue.

    Please move the NO TURN ON RED sign, that is currently on the corner of Mix Avenue & Skiff Street. It really....really needs to be placed RIGHT NEXT to the traffic light itself, up in the air. In its current location, people are either ignoring it or not seeing the sign at all. I have been almost hit daily, at that intersection, by people turning Right on red.

    There is a deep pothole on Skiff Street, right near Aldi's. This hole was repaired quite well previously, but appears to have opened again.

    There is excessive illegal dumping of papers, food wrappers, drink cups etc. is all over the median of the road on Skiff Street. It starts by the bus stop by Aldi's & continues to the top of the Skiff Street/Mix Avenue.

    There is a deep pothole on Skiff Street, where the road 'splits' right next to Arden House Nursing Home. Its the area where you can turn around on Skiff Street. The pothole is very difficult to see when driving.

    There are several storm drains in the parking lot in front of Liquor Land, that are (literally) sinking. The holes are getting larger & almost resemble sinkholes.
